“Working with Martin from Simpleris gave us a fresh perspective on how our business operates behind the scenes. Through the Critical Client Flow session, we mapped our full customer journey for the Open Water Course and how information moves through the business. It made clear that our lead generation process needed to be improved and standardised. Martin’s approach was practical and easy to follow. We left with clarity and a clear path to attract and convert more divers.”

“Working with Martin from Simpleris was an extremely valuable experience. He helped us step back and really see how our business operates from enquiry to delivery - especially how information flows between our sales, admin, and tour guide teams. The Critical Client Flow session made everything visible on one page and highlighted where systems could be documented or streamlined, without changing what already works. Martin’s calm, structured approach made the whole process easy and engaging. We came away with a clearer understanding of how to scale, improve consistency, and prepare for expansion into new cities.”

“We engaged Martin from Simpleris to reduce operational risk and stabilise our FireSmoke manufacturing operation. Key processes were dependent on individual knowledge. This created variation and exposure to quality risk. Through a structured, system-led approach, our critical FireSmoke assembly processes are now documented, standardised, and actively used on the shopfloor. Assembly quality errors reduced by approximately 70%, and individual assembly output increased significantly. Importantly, we now have internal capability to continue improving without reliance on external support. The programme has fundamentally reduced operational risk and given us a stable, repeatable platform for future rollout across other product ranges.”

I help business leaders systemise their operations with clarity and efficiency so their organisations can grow, thrive, and succeed without relying on them being everywhere at once.
My career began in science and engineering, where I earned a PhD in Materials Science and contributed to the development of a novel artificial spinal disc . This sparked my passion for problem-solving and process improvement.
Over the past 20+ years , I’ve held senior operations roles in manufacturing, technology, and research organisations , leading teams, embedding Lean Six Sigma, and delivering measurable results in efficiency, cost reduction, and scalability.
Time and again, I saw the same challenge: businesses relying on individual effort and “tribal knowledge” instead of clearly documented systems. That’s what drew me to SYSTEMology .
It provides a structured, proven framework to capture the 20% of systems that drive 80% of results , freeing business owners from the daily grind and giving their teams the clarity they need to excel.
Through Simpleris Consultancy Limited , I work with SMEs, charities, and community organisations to:
If your business feels chaotic, if you’re frustrated by errors, inefficiencies, or bottlenecks, you don’t need to reinvent the wheel.
With SYSTEMology and a systems-first approach , I’ll help simplify complexity, build resilience into your operations, and free you to focus on growth.
At Simpleris, our belief is simple: “Simplifying Systems, Amplifying Success.”
You love the idea of systemizing your business but don’t know where to start and how to turn that into an actionable plan.
You’ve tried to build business systems before but your team doesn’t follow them, so you’ve given up on the idea.
Your business has a few systems but they’re scattered all over the place, and you’re using all kinds of tools making it hard to train new staff.
You struggle to stay on top of the seemingly endless list of tasks you need to handle, and you’re not enjoying running your business.
How Martin works
Within as little as three months, a certified SYSTEMologist can document the mission-critical systems within your business. This immediately improves your team’s efficiency, increases the value of your business, and frees the business owner from day-to-day operations.

All of my clients also get access to ongoing support, training, and dozens of ready-to-use systems templates.
Stop showing and correcting your staff on how to complete tasks. Document your smart operating procedures (SOPs) once, have your team follow them, and skyrocket your time efficiency and profitability.
Well-documented processes and procedures detailing your business’s “way” are the most important assets within your business—just look at McDonald’s, Subway, and Starbucks. It’s time to start building those assets!
Building a business on the foundation of well-documented systems makes it consistent, profitable, and scalable. Best of all, it allows day-to-day operations to run without you, giving you ultimate freedom.

*The number of systems extracted within the three-month period depends on the needs of the business and the complexity of the systems being extracted. Typically, this number is between 10 and 15 systems.
As you can imagine, this question is a difficult one to answer. All businesses are different—from the level of products and services offered to the size of the organization. That said, typically, a business can see the positive impacts from the systemization of its operations within as little as 90 days.
While it’s important for the business owner to begin the process, it is really the team that will carry this process through to completion. The SYSTEMology process was actually designed for your team. Accordingly, we recommend that businesses have a minimum of three staff members and get them all involved. This could include full-timers, part-timers, and/or contractors. For larger teams, include your leadership team and department heads to drive this forward.
The short answer is yes. SYSTEMology is industry-agnostic. The fact is, all great businesses are built on a foundation of great systems. Business systems are the building blocks of all businesses. We have literally worked with hundreds of companies directly and thousands indirectly. From accountants to bookkeepers, engineers, trades, immigration companies, roofing companies, solar companies, and doggy daycare businesses—if you can think of an industry, there’s a good chance we’ve worked in it.
Great to hear you’ve already made a start with your business systems! As you know, there’s more to building a systemized business than just documenting a few processes. There’s a good chance you haven’t quite achieved your true potential yet. The SYSTEMology process can help you fill the gaps and ensure you have everything in place to finally achieve Complete Business Reliability.
The best way to learn more is to book a call. I’ll walk you through the SYSTEMology process, answer any questions you might have, and provide actionable steps to point you in the right direction.
